Jon fährt zwei Tage auf eine Comic-Messe. Odie ist darüber so unglücklich, dass Garfield beschließt, ihm mit Hilfe eines Luftballons einen Ersatz-Jon zu basteln. Odie ist begeistert. Doch als der Ersatz-Jon von einem Sturm davongeweht wird und Odie ihm nachrennt, hat Garfield alle Hände voll zu tun, das Schlimmste zu verhindern.
